Link to District Annual Registration Information
To be completed prior to 1st day of School
7/17/18 Letter From District Technology Officer, Jamie Lewsadder, Regarding 2018-2019 Registration:
Dear Parents and Families,
We are opening the online registration/data confirmation process tomorrow (a couple of weeks early this year!). This annual process will allow you to update data and review policies needed to start school. I am super excited to give you more time to click through and read, and also to give me more time for troubleshooting with some of you. Let’s ease back into this back to school business :)
Expect the process to take about an hour if you plan to read all of the documents at the same time. If you read the documents ahead of time, (on the right, find the registration checklist tabs for all documents), then the actual online data confirmation process will take about 15 minutes or less.
You may want to have your kids read the documents on the website before you login and begin. Or you can complete the online process and then have them read the policies before signing the emergency form with you. If your student helps you complete this process for you, please review the data printed out on the emergency form to make sure general and emergency contact information is updated.
Note: cell phone and dress code policies have been updated for LCHS. 7/8 has their own cell phone policy this year.
Ok, returning families who use the portal often, skip the rest and login and get started. Click on the Student tab, then data confirmation. You know what to do.
New families and the occasional user, I encourage you to review the written directions and the videos I have prepared. Take 5-10 minutes and get familiar with the process and you will save time once you login. (New families: this is not the same portal you used to enroll, sorry about that. See directions below for creating an account).
View full directions for registration and all supporting documents here
1. Login to the Aeries Portal (current families will use your existing account and sign in with an email address. New families will need to create an account).
2. Click on the yellow header for Data Confirmation or click on the Student Info tab and then Data Confirmation from the drop-down. You'll repeat this process for each student.
(If you are a new family, you'll be prompted to link a student. Check your email for a note from me with the necessary codes to complete this. If have another student entering the district, you can click Change Student to enter the needed codes. If you have not received the email with Student Permanent ID and verification codes, send a message to portalhelp@lcusd.net and we will get back to you)
3. Once you review all policies, complete contact information updates, and indicate choices on the authorizations page, you'll finish the process by selecting confirm and continue and then finish and submit.
4. Finally, the Print Emergency Card button will appear in the center of the final screen if you have completed all steps and clicked Finish and Submit.
5. Sign and initial on the second page and send the emergency form to school with your student during registration for 8th-12th grade, the first day of school for TK-6, and on the second day of school for 7th grade.
If you run into any glitches, you can meet the tech team at the high school IRC, 4463 Oak Grove Drive on the following dates: 7/19 from 2pm-5: 30pm; 8/6 from 3:30pm-7:30pm; and 8/9 from 8am-5pm.
We will also support via email if you get stuck. Reach out to portalhelp@lcusd.net
