Hold it. Adventure waits.

 

Placing a hold on a book is quite easy, just visit the Follet DESTINY app in your classlinks. You can also find a video on how to place a hold on a book in our Library classroom under the curbside topic!
How To Place A Hold On A Book
Find Follet Destiny through Classlink. 
 
--click "La Canada Elementary School Library"
--log in (upper right corner)
--username:  (It should autopopulate.)
--password: (It should autopopulate.)
--click "catalog"
--search for books in the search bar by title, author, or keyword (from the list of books) --click on the title of the book that looks interesting so that it opens in a new page & gives the description & number of copies available (an important step that many miss)
--click "hold it" on the right.
--a new message will appear confirming that the book is on hold
 
Students can put up to five books on hold. Place holds by Thursday night for Friday curbside pick up, 10-12 pm. Questions? bmelillo@lcusd.net

Thursday, February 11th from 10-12
Friday, February 19th from 10-12
Friday, February 26th from 10-12
 
Additionally, the LCE Library has OFFICE HOURS!
 
Students are welcome to request a google meet with Mrs. Melillo to discuss school, books, book recommendations or requests, sports,  movies, etc.
 
Office hours are every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9-10 am for PM classes and 1-2 for AM classes.
